About

The LDI Lab at Kyung Hee University (PI: Mujeen Sung, PhD) conducts cutting-edge Natural Language Processing (NLP) research using Artificial Intelligence (AI) across various real-world domains, including science, biomedicine, and finance. Our goal is to develop advanced deep learning models that enhance text understanding and generation, enabling practical applications such as chatbots, search engines, and text mining tools to benefit society. - Knowledge Extraction: Named entity recognition (Database'22, Bioinformatics'22), Entity linking (ACL'20), Knowledge probing (EMNLP'21)

Dec. 2024: Our LDI lab receives a research grant under the Brain Korea 21 (BK21) Phase 4. (뉴스).

Sep. 2024: Our LDI lab actively participates in the prestigious Global AI Frontier Lab, a collaborative initiative between Korea and New York University (NYU), focusing on AI for medicine and healthcare. (뉴스)
